Josh Bourone, a managing director, leads MSCI’s global GP solutions product team and private equity strategy, focusing on product development, client solutions, commercial engagement and thought leadership. He joined MSCI in November 2025.

MSCI delivers scalable data, analytics and insights designed to support general partners across the full investment lifecycle — from deal sourcing and benchmarking to investor relations and reporting. GP and private equity solutions are a strategic growth priority for the company, reflecting the continued expansion of private markets globally.

Josh brings more than a decade of experience across private markets, with a focus on product development and strategy.

Prior to MSCI, Josh founded Ganryu Capital Partners, where he advised global private markets firms such as EQT and Ardian on product design, market entry, investor experience and other strategic initiatives. He also previously served as Head of International Product R&D at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and held senior roles at Partners Group and SUSI Partners.

Josh holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with studies in Asia from University of Kent in Canterbury and the City University of Hong Kong.
