Juan Luis Rivera is a Managing Partner, responsible for Credit and Equities Strategies. With over 25 years of investment management and research experience, he has been at Patria since the firm's integration with Moneda Asset Management in 2022. Currently based in London, he is responsible for product development, fundraising, client relations and sits on the Board of Patria-Moneda funds in Luxembourg, Ireland and Cayman.

Juan Luis joined Moneda in 2006 as a Partner and Portfolio Manager, where he launched the Moneda Absolute Return strategy. This strategy focused on generating superior risk-adjusted returns with capital protection, employing a multi-strategy approach to invest in Latin American equities and credit. Prior to Moneda, Mr. Rivera was the Chief Executive Officer at Bancard, a Chilean investment company. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
