Mr. Salisbury is a Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Sixth Street.
Prior to Sixth Street, Mr. Salisbury was a member of the Goldman Sachs management committee and chief investment officer of the firm’s asset & wealth management division, responsible for over $2.7 trillion in assets under management. Previously, Mr. Salisbury co-chaired the Goldman Sachs asset management investment committees, including those for private equity, infrastructure, growth equity, credit, and real estate, and served as global co-head of Goldman Sachs asset management, global head of the merchant banking division, head of the global special situations group, and founding member and head of the European special situations group. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Goldman Sachs in bank loan research, high yield research and product control. Mr. Salisbury began his career in the audit practice of KPMG.
He serves on the Board of Trustees of Save the Children, the Board of Trustees of St. Bernard’s School, the Board of Trustees of Choate Rosemary Hall, and the Board of Directors of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity.
Mr. Salisbury received a B.Sc. in Sports Science and an M.Sc. in Biomechanics from Loughborough University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
