Kamal Nazha is a seasoned leader in the alternative investments space with over 15 years of experience across private credit, structured finance, and real estate investments. As Managing Director at Nomura, Kamal leads the firm’s Private Credit origination in EMEA, overseeing the financing of transformative transactions across multiple industries.

Throughout his career, Kamal has demonstrated deep expertise in structuring and executing complex deals, aligning strategic capital solutions with the needs of clients ranging from mid-market sponsors to multinational corporations.

Kamal began his career with Macquarie Asset Management’s infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi before joining Deutsche Bank’s Structured Credit team in Dubai and London, where he led over $1 billion in structured financings across diverse industries. In 2016, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, initially advising a royal family office in Abu Dhabi, followed by establishing a private investment vehicle that develops and operates hotels and aparthotels in Athens, Greece. Kamal also founded a celebrity marketing startup, which he successfully exited in 2022.

In addition to his professional achievements, Kamal is passionate about mentoring emerging talent and sharing insights at industry events. He frequently speaks on topics such as credit market trends and the evolving role of private credit in the global economy.

Kamal is based in London and holds a Master Certificate from Cornell University, USA, and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Concordia University, Canada
