Kirsten is Director of Strategy & Investment at The Sports Consultancy (TSC). Kirsten works with a wide range of international sports investors helping them identify and evaluate investment opportunities, in particular providing commercial due diligence services to forecast revenue growth potential and identify market growth opportunities and risks. Kirsten also helps rightsholders in the UK and internationally with projects to define their future direction, understand their audiences, build effective organisations, grow revenues and raise capital.
She is TSC’s Head of Women’s Sport with a focus on supporting clients and conversations that drive greater understanding, strategy and commercial outcomes for women’s properties.
Kirsten has worked in sport and major events for over 15 years. Having trained as a lawyer with city firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, she moved into sport and major events via a secondment with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then, she has worked in the UK and New Zealand for the public sector, assessing major event opportunities for Government in Auckland, and PwC, advising clients including Sport New Zealand and the New Zealand Olympic Committee on broad management consulting projects. Recently, she is focused on growing TSC’s strategy business and helping her clients to succeed. She is also a non-executive Director for British Curling.
