With ~15 years of investment experience, Liliya is a senior principal at Morgan Stanley Private Equity Solutions, a fund of funds group with ~$20Bn in AUM. Being an LP most of her career, she leads the due diligence process for primaries and co-investments, focusing on buyout, growth, and venture strategies across various sectors. Liliya is also driving sourcing for unique and hard to come by opportunities through her professional and personal networks.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2020, Liliya spent six years at CalPERS Private Equity, where she was a portfolio manager and an ESG lead for the asset class. At CalPERS, she was involved in every stage of the PE lifecycle, including research, sourcing, underwriting, closing, and monitoring. Additionally, she was part of a strategic initiative focused on portfolio construction and asset allocation, cementing her reputation as a seasoned and well-networked professional in the industry. Prior to CalPERS, Liliya spent close to 3 years at LP Capital Advisors (now part of Mercer), an alternative assets advisory firm. Liliya started her career at Citi and holds a CFA® designation.
