Prior to joining Arini in 2024 to focus on sponsor and corporate relationships, Mr. Cestar served as Senior Advisor to the CEO and Global Head of Credit at ICG. Before that, he was CEO of ScION Tech Growth, a public company backed by ION, the financial software and data firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cestar spent over two decades at Credit Suisse in London and New York, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Co-Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets in London, with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, and the investment banking sector and country coverage teams. Mr. Cestar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Columbia University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude.
