Michael Lindauer established Ypoons Capital in 2026 as the vehicle for several investment and advisory activities. He is currently a member of the Interogo Global Private Equity investment committee, a non-executive director of Level 20 and is a former Director of Invest Europe.

Michael brings 25+ years of experience in private markets, most recently serving as the chief investment officer for private equity at Allianz since 2010, managing assets in excess of EUR 25bn. He represented the firm on numerous fund advisory boards.

Michael started his career at PwC and Yahoo!. He holds a master's degree in business administration from LMU Munich and is a Fellow of the 2018 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Global Leadership Network of the Aspen Institute.
