Michele Semenzato was one of the two founders of Wise Equity in 2000 and is presently Managing Partner of the company. Besides leading several deals for Wise Equity, he is also responsible for the fundraising activity of the firm.

Wise Equity invests in the Italian lower mid-market, specializing in niche industrial leaders with majority of revenues coming from the international markets. Currently it is investing its sixth fund (2023 vintage), with total commitments of € 400 Million.

He holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy.
