At OpenAI, Paul leads the strategy, GTM programs and partnering resources/relationships that help Private Equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies fully leverage OpenAI to accelerate value creation. Before joining OpenAI, Paul built and led the global PE team at Amazon Web Services. 

Previously, he was a co-founding Managing Director of the Softbank Asia Infrastructure Fund (SAIF) and a three-time portfolio company CEO. 

Paul holds a B.A.Sc. (Computer Science) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland. Mr. Zimmerman is Directorship Certified with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
