Philipp is Founding Partner of Sevest, a private equity firm focused on lower midmarket investments in industrial and technology-driven businesses. Sevest targets companies with clear operational and strategic value creation potential, applying a hands-on approach to drive performance improvements, scale operations and build market-leading platforms. Prior to founding Sevest, Philipp co-founded Serafin Unternehmensgruppe, a Munichbased industrial holding company focused on complex carve-outs and special situations. At Serafin, he was instrumental in sourcing and executing transactions, as well as driving operational transformations. Philipp began his career at KPMG in audit, before moving into valuation and corporate finance advisory. He subsequently joined Aurelius Group, where he focused on special situations investments and operational turnarounds. He holds a Master’s degree in Global Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
