Profile
Salim is head of European Private Credit Fundraising in Alternatives Capital Formation within Asset & Wealth Management, leading capital raising efforts across the firm’s private credit strategies in Europe. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2025 as managing director.
Prior to joining the firm, Salim worked at ICG as a product specialist, where he led client relations for the firm’s hybrid capital strategies. Earlier in his career at PIMCO, he held several roles, including serving as a senior member of the EMEA Alternatives Investment Product Strategy Group.
Salim earned a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Southampton in 2004 and an MSc in Finance (Investment Management) from Bayes Business School in 2005. He is a CFA charterholder.
