Sherif is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Coefficient LP, a modernization fund with a focus on decarbonization and energy transition. He oversees Coefficient’s efforts in sourcing, due diligence, transaction negotiation, monitoring active portfolio companies and execution.

Sherif is a serial entrepreneur with a rich operational and investment background of more than 20 years including transformative leadership as CEO of an Energy company that had 7 subsidiaries in MENA, US, and Mexico where he grew the company tenfold in

seven years. Beyond his significant energy contributions, Sherif co-founded a logistics company, an independent newspaper, R&D & Manufacturing company and a Montessori school underpinning his inter-disciplinary vision and prowess.

Sherif has served on 6 boards of for-profit companies and currently serves on 3 boards. Sherif holds a double master’s degree in economics and political science from Heidelberg University in Germany.
