Dr. Silva Dezelan leads Forbion's Impact & ESG initiatives, driving strategy and its implementation. Before joining Forbion, she served as ESG Director at Stafford Capital Partners, a specialist in private markets and real assets. At Robeco, Silva integrated ESG across various private equity programs and previously managed the Responsible Investing Program at Rabobank's Sustainability Directorate. Her career in responsible investing began in 2007 as an SRI analyst at the Institute for Investment Services Research, following her role as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Ljubljana.

Silva chairs Invest Europe’s ESG Committee and is a member of the NVP’s Responsible Investment Committee. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
