Sumeet co-founded GENUI in 2014 and serves as the Managing Partner. He was the architect of the European mid-market buyout investor that applies a Good Entrepreneurship model together with currently 30 exceptionally successful founders and entrepreneurs. He is also the initiator of the €130m endowed Entrepreneurs Social Impact Foundation targeting to improve the opportunities for children and youths. Prior to founding GENUI, Sumeet was in the founding team in DACH and Partner of EQT and headed the firm’s consumer goods and retail practice globally. Sumeet holds a Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the Technical University of Hamburg, Germany and a doctorate in Economics from Université de Fribourg, Switzerland.
