As Director Impact & Sustainable Investing Thomas leads Value for Good’s work with traditional and impact investors as well as their portfolio companies. Value for Good is a strategy consultancy that exclusively specializes in societal impact (people & planet) and is 100% owned by the non-for-profit Value for Good foundation. At Value for Good Thomas supports investors and companies on their impact & sustainability journey across strategy, integration in the investment process, value creation during ownership, as well as external engagement.

Before joining Value for Good, Thomas worked for five years at Bain & Company, ultimately as a Manager, where he worked across industries focusing on commercial and operational due diligence for private equity clients. He also advised social impact clients incl. impact VCs and incubators. Additionally, Thomas served as a Consultant to the World Bank Development Impact Group and the IFC, where he wrote his Master’s Thesis on Private Equity in Emerging Markets. Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and completed his social service year at a kindergarten in Costa Rica.
