Thomas Hoffmann is Head of Investments and a Partner at SFP Infrastructure Partners (SFP IP), one of the few firms globally dedicated exclusively to the infrastructure secondary market. He has been instrumental in shaping SFP IP’s investment strategy, focusing on acquiring high-quality assets in the mid-cap space through secondary transactions. Thomas oversees sourcing, execution, and portfolio management, helping establish SFP IP as a specialist player in this fast-growing segment.

Before co-founding SFP IP, Thomas supported HSBC in developing an infrastructure multi-manager program and later joined Partners Group, where he led numerous primary, secondary, and co-investment transactions across global infrastructure sectors and played a key role in building the firm’s infrastructure secondaries initiative. Widely recognized as a pioneer in the infrastructure secondary market, he continued his focus at Golding Capital Partners, where he led secondary transactions in the buyout and infrastructure space and contributed to the design of a dedicated secondary fund. Thomas has over 12 years of experience in private infrastructure investing.
