Tracey HuggettCo-Founder & Managing Partner at Future Business PartnershipSpeaker
Profile
Tracey is Co-Founding and Managing Partner at Future Business Partnership, a thematic impact private equity manager run by a team of sector specialists. By backing authentically mission-driven sustainability champions, FBP empowers the transition towards low carbon, resource efficient and socially positive household consumption. As UK’s highest scoring B Corp and operating a 100% impact-linked carry scheme,
FBP is tailored to be the investor of choice for a sector where environmental and social progress represents a commercial competitive advantage; a sector which is resilient, fast-growing and, as yet, is underserved. FBP’s diverse team has been securing investments in established European market leaders in sustainable household consumer products since 2022, backed by leading institutional LPs predominately representing pension funds’ PE allocations. They are now preparing to raise Europe’s first dedicated consumer-specialist sustainable transition fund.
Tracey has 20 years of private equity experience investing in consumer businesses across Europe for DB Capital Partners, MidOcean Partners, Terra Firma and NEO Investment Partners. With board-level experience at brands including Odeon Cinemas, Tank & Rast, Tom Dixon, Naif Care and Big Green Smile, she has first-hand experience of both the opportunities and complexity faced by consumer businesses of every scale. With a personal passion for the environment, her community and workplace ethics, as well as a recognition of the scale of the commercial opportunity, Tracey’s focus now is to partner with authentically purpose-driven founders and senior talent to scale the next generation of sustainable business success stories: delivering top tier financial returns at the same time as driving positive change.
Tracey is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and started her career with Deloitte in Johannesburg before coming to London and entering private equity. Tracey lives in London, with her daughter.
