Veera Somersalmi is a Director of Investor Relations for Europe at Bpifrance Investments, based in Paris. Prior to joining Bpifrance, Veera was a placement advisor for private equity and other alternative investment funds. Earlier in her career, Veera worked as an Investment Director with Standard Life Investments Private Equity, as well as with two Nordic fund managers, CapMan and Nordic Mezzanine, and as a portfolio manager with the Finnish pension fund KEVA. Veera is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from Tulane University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Aalto University in Helsinki.
