Mr. Khosla is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Strategic Value Partners, LLC (SVP), a global opportunistic credit firm with approximately $22 billion in assets under management. He established SVP in 2001 and the firm today has 200 plus employees with major offices in Greenwich CT, New York, London and Tokyo. The firm has been transformed over 25 years, from its roots in distressed investing to one which provides capital solutions to sponsors and corporates, invests in real assets (real estate, infrastructure, aircraft, power plants) with operating platforms to manage and improve assets, and has a substantial portfolio of special situations private equity where it drives operating transformations. Today, SVP has operating control (typically majority) of more than 19 businesses with about 90,000 employees. The firm grew from its U.S. roots, and was a first mover in Europe, setting up an office in London in 2004. Over time, Europe has typically accounted for about 40 percent of the portfolio, and the firm is well recognized as a market leader in the special situations space.  

Over his career, Mr. Khosla has built and managed one of the top global proprietary trading businesses at Merrill Lynch, served as President of Cerberus Capital and run MooreSVP, a JV with Moore Capital. Mr. Khosla graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce (Honors) degree from Delhi University, an MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago. 

Mr. Khosla is committed to broadening educational opportunities for the under-privileged and is actively engaged with the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, and on the board of Pratham USA, one of the largest NGOs in India which reaches millions of kids each year.
