Vikram Raju is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he established the 1GT platform to focus on growth stage private equity investments in companies that collectively contribute to a gigaton of CO2 emissions avoidance. Prior to joining the Firm, Vikram was the Climate Funds Lead at the World Bank Group (IFC). Previously, Vikram was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and a portfolio manager with Lazard Frères. Vikram currently serves on the boards of Corvus Energy, XOcean, Instagrid GmbH and previously, Daystar Energy. Vikram studied economics and international finance at St. Xavier's College/ Bombay University and the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
