Vincent Lu is responsible for the underwriting and portfolio management of the firm’s private credit investments and related funds. He is also involved in developing the investment process for private credit as well as the due diligence and credit evaluation of investment opportunities.

Mr. Lu joined Lord Abbett in 2023 and was named Partner in 2024. His previous experience includes serving as Co-Head of Global Performing Credit at J.P. Morgan Asset Management; Co-Head of Private Strategies at Wells Fargo Asset Management; Managing Director, Private Credit at The Blackstone Group L.P.; and Leveraged Finance Group at J.P. Morgan & Co. Inc. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1991.

He earned a BS and AB in economics and computer science from Duke University and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania
