Wee Kii Teh is a Director, Senior Portfolio Manager in Allianz Global Investors’ Development Finance investment team. Since joining the team in 2021, Wee Kii has focused on the Blended Finance partnership between Allianz and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) (completing the vehicle upsize in 2022), as well as leading the build-out of the Emerging Market (EM) Private Credit strategy and ensuring deployment across other EM private debt strategies.

Prior to AllianzGI, Wee Kii was at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 6 years, where she worked on the Emerging Markets bond origination & structuring desk and subsequently the syndicated Loan Capital Markets desk, focusing on acquisition financings and general corporate refinancings for large European and Emerging Markets financial institutions and corporate clients.

Wee Kii Teh holds a Bachelor's of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology from Imperial College London, where she graduated with First Class Honours. In 2024 she was selected as one of Private Debt Investor's (PDI) 2024 Rising Stars - a list of 40 individuals under the age of 40 whom PDI believes have the potential to shape the future of the asset class.
