Joined Pictet Asset Management (Japan) Ltd in 2023 and has served in the current position since January 2024.

Began the career at Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1993, where he worked as an economist and researcher at Dai-ichi Life Research Institute, the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Embassy of Japan in Hungary).

From 2002, was engaged in global fixed income portfolio management and trading at Tokio Marine Asset Management and Rogge Global Partners (UK).

In 2010, joined Alliance Bernstein Japan, where he served as Executive Officer and Head of Product Management, Head of Fixed Income, and Head of Investment Strategy.

From 2018, served as Head of the Fixed Income Investment Group (Japan) and the Portfolio Strategist Group at State Street Global Advisors Japan.

Graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Economics, in 1993.

Since 2017, he has been a part-time lecturer at the Waseda University Business and Finance Research Center.
