Nazim Hajiyev has over 25 years of international experience in senior roles across capital markets and investment advisory, including positions at Morgan Stanley, CALYON (Credit Agricole CIB), HSBC Middle East, PwC, Baghlan Group, and the Azerbaijan Financial Regulator.

As the current CEO of the Azerbaijan-Uzbek Investment Company (AUIC), a sovereign-backed investment platform, Nazim leads efforts to promote economic growth and sustainable development across the Caucasus and Central Asia. Under his leadership, AUIC focuses on direct and co-investments in commercially viable projects that drive innovation and foster regional trade, particularly in manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, fintech, and agri-industries.
