Ali El Reda Youssef is currently serving as Senior Investment Officer and Equity Lead for Infrastructure & Energy in the Middle East, Pakistan, and Afghanistan at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private investment arm of the World Bank Group.
With nearly a decade of experience at IFC, Ali specializes in structuring equity and debt transactions across sectors including renewable energy, digital infrastructure, transport, logistics, water, waste management, and natural gas value chains. His track record spans diverse emerging markets globally, and he is now focused on the dynamic MENA region.
Ali joined IFC as part of the Infrastructure Africa team and most recently served as Chief of Staff to IFC’s Global Infrastructure Director for three years. Prior to IFC, he worked at Booz & Company in the UAE and at Morgan Stanley IBD in London.
Ali holds graduate degrees from Columbia University and École Centrale Paris. He speaks Arabic, English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
