Bhupinder Singh is a Managing Director and Global Head of Leveraged & Acquisition Finance at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the largest and most preeminent regional investment bank in the Middle East.

Bhupinder leads FAB’s Leveraged Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Fund Finance, and Structured Credit businesses, overseeing a globally integrated platform that has executed landmark transactions across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and North America. Under his leadership, FAB has become a trusted partner for complex, cross-border financings, with a strong track record in digital infrastructure, energy transition, transport, and social infrastructure.

He has built a market-leading team that is the preferred provider for acquisition, infrastructure, and private credit financings for sophisticated regional clients and global private equity sponsors. The business has grown its income and assets multiple fold under his leadership, earning numerous industry accolades and contributing to the development of the private credit market in the region through innovative non-bank financings.

Prior to joining FAB in 2019, Bhupinder spent nine years at Standard Chartered in Dubai, where he led the leveraged finance business in Saudi Arabia and oversaw real estate-related financings across the region. He began his career in 2005 in London as an M&A banker at Morgan Stanley and also held roles at Lloyds before relocating to the UAE in 2011.

Bhupinder holds an MSc in Applied Economics & Finance from Copenhagen Business School and Stockholm School of Economics.
