Hab (Habib) El/Al-Assaad intercedes for the family of Sheikha Latifa MBM espoused to Sheikh Hasher Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum, acting as Executive Co-Director of its AFAQ Group for General Investments, and Board Director at the public Brighter AB (NASDAQ OMX:BRIG). Formerly, Hab was a Managing Director of Miraki Innovation in Harvard Square after tenures at ORACLE Corporation, Revitalife, Motorola, and GM. Entrepreneurially, Hab initiated the Oryx SIS banking fund as its upstart CEO and Impact Hub as a local Founding Partner— while co-creating a global Community of Practice for this change-acceleration network.

Avocationally, Hab is stewarding futures as the instigator of the Kₓ2™ project, a series of real-world experiments for soft-testing post-COVID19 scenarios, pending societal re-emergence. A 2002 AUS Pioneers recipient by H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al-Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, he has been among participants of the 1st INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Programme in Fontainebleau (2006) and the 1st EDSF scholar outside the United States.
