Khalifa Al Hajeri is the Chief Executive Officer of the Emirates Growth Fund (EGF), the UAE’s AED 1 billion flagship growth equity platform backed by Emirates Development Bank (EDB). He leads the Fund’s mandate to close the “missing middle” funding gap by empowering UAE-based SMEs in national priority sectors with patient capital, enhanced governance, and access to global networks, enabling their transformation into resilient national champions. With over 15 years of international investment experience, Al Hajeri has built a career spanning growth equity, venture capital, and sovereign partnerships, most notably at Mubadala Investment Company. Complimented by his MBA from IESE Business School in Spain, he combines deep regional expertise with a global outlook and has a proven record of scaling businesses, institutionalizing governance, and forging strategic alliances across markets.
