Luay Ahmadi is Managing Director, Global Head of Institutions at GFH Financial Group, where he leads the Group’s Treasury and Financial Institutions activities, focusing on strengthening relationships with institutional partners and enhancing liquidity management strategies.

With over 26 years of experience across the GCC and international markets, Luay has held senior executive roles in leading regional and global financial institutions, including Emirates NBD, Deutsche Bank, UBS, and Citibank. He has a proven record of delivering sustained growth, structuring innovative financial products, and building deep networks with institutional and UHNW clients.

Prior to joining GFH, Luay served as Chief Investment Officer at Lamar Holding, and as Head of Investment Partners Group, MENA at Safanad. He also previously held leadership roles at GFH Capital in Dubai, serving as Senior Executive Officer, where he oversaw the placement, treasury, capital markets and overall activities of the company.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, Washington DC.
