Profile
Muteb Alshathri has over fifteen years of diverse experience in various industries, starting from his early roles as an Advisor and Engineer at Saudi Aramco, then to his role as Investment and Strategy Director at McDonald's Saudi Arabia. He now serves as the Head of Private Equity and Regional Investments at the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
In his current role, Muteb played a key part in creating a private equity strategy for the PIF focused on investing in the Middle East and North Africa region, both through direct and indirect investments. He also led the development of PIF’s major USD 24 billion investment project, which spans six regional investment companies, under the guidance of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Chairman of PIF.
Muteb holds leadership positions on several regional boards and committees, including DEPA, ADES Holding, Capital Bank of Jordan, and others. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, USA and is an alumnus of Northwestern University.
