Muteb Alshathri has over fifteen years of diverse experience in various industries, starting from his early roles as an Advisor and Engineer at Saudi Aramco, to his leadership as Consumer and Business Insights Director at McDonald's Saudi Arabia. He now serves as the Senior Director of Private Equity and Regional Investments at the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

In his current role, Muteb played a key part in creating a private equity strategy focused on investing in the Middle East and North Africa region, both through direct investments and partnerships with other companies. He also led the development of PIF’s major $24 billion investment project, which spans across six regional companies, under the guidance of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Chairman of PIF.

Muteb holds leadership positions on several boards and committees, including Qassim Cement Company, ADES Holding, Saudi Ceramics Company, Capital Bank of Jordan, and others. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and is an alumnus of Northwestern University.
