Rajeev is a General Partner at Cactus Partners. He brings over 25 years of extensive financial experience in venture investing, investment banking and M&A. With experience across the lifecycle of investment management, Rajeev’s expertise lies in deal making, capacity building for scale-up in portfolio companies, governance, and exit management.

Prior to Cactus Partners, Rajeev was at FidelisWorld, a Dubai-based early growth

private equity fund leading consumer and technology investments across India and the Middle East. Having interacted extensively with groups across the GCC countries and India, Rajeev has a keen understanding of the opportunities, risks, and cultural nuances between the two geographies.

He has previously set up the investment banking practices of Edelweiss Capital and SMC Capital in Delhi and has been a corporate banker with HSBC and DBS Bank in India.

Rajeev graduated in economics from Shri Ram School of Commerce (SRCC), received his master's degree from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, and completed his post graduate programme in business administration from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
