A seasoned professional, Tariq Nakhooda has over 20 years’ experience in the financial markets, particularly in the asset management and financial services businesses.

Tariq has held roles with leading market players, spanning investment structuring, fund administration, tax and accounts, compliance and legal, and investment banking – in India, Singapore and Dubai.

Having worked in Dubai for over a decade, in both the fund and corporate sectors, Tariq has an in-depth understanding of the region. Tariq’s association with IQ-EQ goes back to his stint with a leading private equity player during which he worked with IQ-EQ as the service provider. Having taken over as Country Head, UAE, Tariq has led the effort to establish the DIFC and ADGM offices of IQ-EQ and to build the local presence.

After completing his graduation in commerce from the University of Bombay, obtaining a first class with specialization in accounting and tax, Tariq qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
