Tom is the founding General Partner at Elder Gull, an early-stage venture capital firm based in London. With 15 years of experience investing in and building companies, Tom was previously General Partner at Talis Capital, an early-stage VC that led early funding rounds in Darktrace, Onfido, Luminance, Seqera and Bondaval. Specialising in subsets of fintech, B2B software and marketplaces, Tom has led investments in many companies at pre-seed, Seed and Series A, including Bondaval, StockStory and Acin. An active angel investor, Tom also co-founded KOYO, served on the board of Right to Dream and is mentor to young entrepreneurs via LaunchIt. Earlier in his career, Tom held various front-office investing roles, has an undergraduate degree in Economics, a Masters in Wealth Management and is a CFA charterholder.
