Andrew Peters is a Managing Director of New York Life Investments and is head of a team responsible for investment risk, due diligence and performance oversight. He previously was Head of Alternatives Risk at Invesco and prior to that was Chief Risk Officer of OC Private Capital, a joint venture between OppenheimerFunds and the Carlyle Group. Prior to that he was Risk Manager at Avenue Capital, a distressed credit hedge fund and prior to that he was a Director at Chatham Financial, a derivatives and risk management consultancy. He holds an MBA in Finance (honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
