David Katz is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Private Equity at Charlesbank Capital Partners. He also leads the firm’s Business & Consumer Services sector team. David has been with Charlesbank for 13 years, having previously worked at Bain Capital Private Equity and at McKinsey & Company.

David is currently on the board of Accordion, Lido Advisors, Perspective Financial Group, Petra Funds Group, Rise Growth Partners, Salus GRC, Ventura Community Partners and World Insurance Associates. His prior investments include Ensono, StoneCastle Partners and Varsity Brands.

David earned a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is based in Charlesbank’s New York office.
