Jonathan Fitzgerald is Co-Founder and Head of Wealth Planning at Alvarez & Marsal Private Wealth Partners. He advises ultra-high-net-worth families, founders, business owners, and family offices on estate and trust planning, transfer tax strategy, business succession, family governance, and planning before and after major liquidity events.

Jonathan’s work bridges the technical elements of planning and the practical realities of family decision-making. At AMPWP, he helps clients coordinate estate structures, ownership design, liquidity planning, investment policy, fiduciary roles, and tax considerations, collaborating with A&M Tax where appropriate.

Before co-founding AMPWP, Jonathan served as Head of Domestic Wealth Planning for North America at Citi Private Bank. He previously held leadership roles at Wilmington Trust’s Emerald Family Office and practiced law, advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on estate and federal tax planning. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jonathan holds a JD from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CPA and a member of the Florida Bar.
