Mr. Waglay is the CEO and Co-Founder of Butterfly. Mr. Waglay has over 20 years of investing experience with a primary focus on the food sector. To date, Mr. Waglay has been involved in transactions totaling over $8 billion of invested capital and currently serves on the boards of Duckhorn, Rise Baking, Actus Nutrition, Chosen Foods, Pete and Gerry's, Generous Brands, Bolthouse Fresh Foods and QDOBA. Mr. Waglay also previously served on the board of Orgain before the sale to Nestle and on the board of MaryRuth Organics.

Prior to founding Butterfly, Mr. Waglay was a senior member of KKR’s Consumer Retail Private Equity team, where he worked from 2007 to 2016 with a primary focus on the food sector. Prior to joining KKR in 2007, Mr. Waglay worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was part of the Consumer Retail Investment Banking team.
