Alan Goldfarb is a Managing Partner of Orangewood Partners, where he co-leads the firm's investment and operational activities.
Before founding Orangewood, Alan was Managing Director and Head of Special Situations at Senator Investment Group. He was previously a founding member and Principal of The Carlyle Group's distressed and corporate opportunities fund, Carlyle Strategic Partners, and began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co.
Alan has served on the boards of DLA, ServPro Global DRT, M7B, Pacific Bells, K2 Towers REIT, K2 Towers, Peaceable Street Capital, ABTB, George Industries, DFI Capital (Engs Commercial Finance), Diversified Machine, Inc., and Permian Holdings, Inc. He currently serves on Miami University's Farmer School of Business Advisory Council, co-instructs at the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, and co-founded Carlyle's alumni group.
Alan holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Miami University (Ohio), summa cum laude with University Honors.
