Clark Koury is a Managing Director and Credit Strategist within Carlyle’s Global Credit platform, focused on driving product positioning and client engagement across the global wealth channel. He is based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Koury spent nearly a decade at Oaktree Capital Management, where he led the firm’s Product Specialist Group and served as a senior credit product specialist, most recently focused on expanding the firm’s presence in the wealth channel. He began his career in leveraged finance investment banking at Barclays before joining Goldman Sachs in a similar role.
Mr. Koury earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, where he was a three-year varsity football letterwinner.
