Jeff Roth is a Founding Partner of Bruin Capital, serving as the company’s financial, strategic, and deal lead. A highly accomplished investment, M&A, and finance executive, Jeff combines his vast experience with a nuanced perspective on the changing dynamics within the sports, media, technology, and entertainment landscape. He is responsible for leading Bruin’s investments through origination, evaluation, structuring, and term negotiation. He also conducts fundraising and assists portfolio companies with strategic and financial matters.
In recognition of his pioneering leadership, Jeff was named to Sports Business Journal’s prestigious 40-Under-40 List and Leaders 40 list for the global sports industry’s top young talent.
Jeff also plays an integral role in all of Bruin’s acquisitions and in shaping its investment strategy. Under Roth, Bruin has completed more than 40 acquisitions, and the combined footprint of Bruin's portfolio is 50+ offices, in 21 countries, with 3200 employees.
Before joining Bruin, he was a Vice President at Allen & Company, advising large and small-cap clients in the media, entertainment, technology, and sports sectors on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic initiatives. He began his career in the TMT investment banking group at Citigroup.
Jeff holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He resides with his wife and three daughters in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
