Jen O’Neal is a Senior Director at IEQ Capital where she leads client relationships and drives new business initiatives. With over 30 years of experience spanning accounting, finance, banking, family office management, venture capital, and private equity, Jen brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

In June 2023, Jen joined the Dallas office of EPIQ Capital Partners, a multifamily office managing the financial affairs of ultra-high-net-worth families. EPIQ was acquired by IEQ in December of 2024 where she is not part of a $40bn MFO. Prior to EPIQ, she spent 15 years managing investments for single-family offices, developing a deep understanding of the unique needs of affluent families. She also co-founded a strategic capital placement firm, building a robust network of family office principals and executives to connect them with vetted investment opportunities. Most recently, she served as an early partner at Anchor Capital, a late-stage venture investment firm focused on direct investments alongside family offices.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Jen moved to Dallas in 1990 to attend Southern Methodist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She later completed her MBA and master’s in accounting at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Jen is actively involved in her community, serving on the Dallas Committee for the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Board of SMU’s Southwest Venture Forum. She is also a seasoned speaker and panelist for conferences and a judge for early-stage venture competitions.
