John Kettnich

Mr. Kettnich is a founding member of StepStone Group, where he co-leads the firms Private Equity secondary business, a $16 billion program that invests across LP interest and GP-led secondaries globally. Since StepStone’s inception, Mr. Kettnich has helped to build the Firm’s primary diligence and research platform, helped develop the firm’s international business spending time living in both Beijing and London, in addition to the firm’s secondary business. Before joining StepStone in 2007, Mr. Kettnich was with PCG Capital Partners, the direct investment arm of Pacific Corporate Group, where he sourced and evaluated middle-market buyout and growth equity investments. Mr. Kettnich graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from the University of San Diego and is a CFA charterholder.
