Maria Melchor is a member of the Private Equity team at Apogem Capital, where she focuses on private equity fund investing and co-investing. She is actively involved in all aspects of investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring. Maria joined Apogem in 2022 and was previously at UBS, where she was an Associate Director in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance group. She brings over a decade of industry experience spanning private markets, public markets, valuations, and operations, including her earlier work in investment management in Madrid, Spain. Maria holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, an M.S. in Accounting from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid) and a B.S. in Business and Law from CUNEF (Madrid).
