Matthew Semino is a Senior Director, within the Global Family Office at BNY Wealth. In his role, he develops new client opportunities and delivers the firm’s full suite of solutions to family offices across the U.S. and internationally. Based in the New York office, Matthew brings a wealth of experience working with large single-family office clients and is a recognized business leader in the family office sector.

Prior to joining BNY Wealth, he spent four years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank where he worked with UHNW and family office clients to provide innovative cross-firm solutions. Matthew previously held roles at Bridgewater Associates and Bessemer Trust where he led the strategic development of its Family Office Management division. Matthew started his career as a corporate attorney holding positions at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Weil Gotshal & Manges where he focused on M&A and securities transactions.

Matthew earned a B.S. (honors) from Cornell University where he was a recipient of the Harry S. Truman scholarship and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the National University of Singapore and completed studies at the London School of Economics.
