Michelle Jacobi is a Managing Director on the Fund Placement & Advisory (“FPA”) Group at Oppenheimer & Co. The FPA Group focuses on raising institutional capital on behalf of mid-market private equity funds in the US and Europe.

Michelle has over 15 years of experience in private equity fundraising, as well as general partner stake investments and leveraged finance. She is primarily focused on origination, fundraising, and strategic advisory services to leading alternative investment managers. Most recently, Michelle served as Managing Director at Gatewood Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on seeding and staking emerging alternative asset managers.

Earlier in her career, Michelle also held positions at Cebile Capital, VCP Advisors and Jefferies Finance. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s in Law and Master of Science in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics.
