Otilia Ciotau is Operating Partner, Business Transformation and AI at VSS Capital Partners. In this role, she partners with portfolio companies to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact initiatives where AI and advanced analytics can strengthen operating performance, sharpen decision-making, and accelerate growth.

Prior to VSS, Ciotau spent a decade at The World Bank Group, most recently as Senior Advisor to the Managing Director and CFO, where she helped lead a global finance complex spanning treasury, risk, accounting, and development finance responsible for more than $800 billion in assets. Before that, she held Chief Economist and Director-level positions, where she built and led multidisciplinary teams, established new functions, redesigned operating models, and drove transformation initiatives.

Otilia has been actively engaged in the application of AI, including collaboration with MIT Media Lab's Advancing Humans with AI research program and completion of MIT's AI Implications for Business Strategy program.
