Sonny Saksena is the CIO for Maihar, a fifteen-year-old private investment office that pursues strategic partnerships, capital allocations, and co-investments globally. At Maihar, Mr. Saksena focusses on generating proprietary deal flow and investment evaluations.

He is skilled at evaluating a broad range of assets (HF, PE, and VC Funds), secondary fund investments, direct investments and non-traditional investments such as timber, farmland, mineral rights, and other commodities. His investment expertise include asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, synthetic expense management and fund restructurings. He has a first-rate education (Harvard, GEC, MIT, and Rollins) and received multiple honors and awards.

For 2H25, Maihar is actively seeking PE and Infrastructure managers - Fund Size>$1B+ USD; Fund raising or like to raise funds in the next 12 months for $1B or more; and Fund 3 or later with peer outperformance for the majority of the funds.
