Amy Brown is Vice President and Manager of Natural Hazards and Aggregation at FM, where she leads the firm’s global approach to climate risk, natural catastrophe exposure, and portfolio resilience across the built environment. She works at the intersection of engineering, underwriting, and capital management to help organizations understand and reduce physical climate risk while supporting longterm financial sustainability. Amy brings more than two decades of experience spanning insurance, reinsurance, and hazard science, including earlier work as a seismologist. She holds master’s degrees in earthquake engineering and fire protection engineering Amy is a frequent speaker on climate risk, catastrophe aggregation, and the evolving role of insurance and reinsurance in financial resilience.
