Catherine Cusimano is a Director for Energy Infrastructure Credit at Nuveen. Catherine has over ten years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors primarily focused on private credit and control equity transactions.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 2025, Catherine was a Principal at Bernhard Capital Partners where she focused on middle-market services and infrastructure private equity investments. Prior to BCP, she was a Vice President at HPS Investment Partners focused on investing across the capital structure for the Energy, Power & Renewables vertical. Catherine started her career as an Associate E&P Equity Analyst for Capital One Securities.

Catherine graduated cum laude with a BSM in Finance and Economics and holds a Master of Management in Energy Finance and Trading from Tulane University.
